Hi, I've been a premium Spotify user for several months now, and I have never had this problem before. No matter which device I am logged into Spotify on, I can't download music. Last night I tried on my computer, turned Spotify off and back on, signed out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled Sp. Uninstall the Spotify app, the normal way from the control panel first. Then go to this location in your File explorer ‘ C:UsersUsernameAppDataLocalSpotify ‘ and delete the whole Spotify folder. Then give your computer a restart. Then install the latest version of Spotify and check if Spotify is opening. If Spotify doesn't appear in the 'app' lists, then it may be the foundamental reason why the playlist is stuck on 'Waiting to Download'. Now go to 'Browse' and navigate to your Spotify folder. Pick the Spotify Application and click 'add'. Download a Song or Album from Spotify. Spotify gives you the ability to curate a personal playlist made up of your favorite songs. If you wish to download individual songs, you must first put them onto this playlist and then download the playlist.
1. Force Close Spotify and Re-Open It
Force closing the app and relaunching it eliminates several temporary problems. In case Spotify is stuck or not letting you scroll the list of songs or use the controls, it is advisable to quit and re-open it.
- On iPhone with Face ID, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold. On iPhone with the Home button, quickly double press it.

2. Check Your Internet Connectivity

3. Check Spotify Server Status

The easiest way to check is by visiting Spotify Status on Twitter. To know about the Spotify status in your particular region, visit sites like DownDetector. You may also search for ‘Spotify Server Status‘ on Google, Bing, or any other search engine.
4. Log Out and Log In Again
- Open the Spotify app and tap on Home, if not already. From the top right corner, tap on the Settings icon.
- Scroll down, tap on LOG OUT, and confirm.
- Now force close the app (explained above). Next, relaunch Spotify and log in using your credentials.

5. Restart Your Device
